Should the solenoid voltage for pneumatic valves be 24V or 220V? What’s the difference in this? How to choose?
Most of those I’ve seen are 24V; there are very few that are 220V, but they do exist. In our project, we have one unit connected to 24V, and it doesn’t function – this was discovered during the joint testing.
Depending on the requirements, large electromagnets need high voltage, while small ones can function with lower voltage. For reference.
24V is safe; 220V can be dangerous in case of leakage
If there’s a 220V leakage, it’s not a problem
