HG/T20507 states that \"when the temperature sensing element is installed vertically on a fully filled fluid pipeline or at an angle of 45° to the pipe wall, the length of the end of the temperature sensing element that is submerged within the inner wall of the pipeline should be no less than 50 mm and no more than 125 mm.\" Does this length refer to the length of the end perpendicular to the pipe wall, or to the distance from the end of the sensing element to the opening? According to the data sheet provided by another project design institute of the company, the insertion depth for just any temperature value exceeds 125 mm; as shown in the figure, it’s 300 mm. How can this be explained?
