Can 375 be used as a signal generator? How to use it?
It is possible to send analog MA signals from the table header to the DCS; the LOOP test option is for this purpose
In model 375, the diagnostics in the transmitter include a circuit test that allows it to output a 4–20 mA signal directly, independent of the influence of instrument measurements
375 can send commands to compatible instruments to generate 4-20mA signals, but it cannot generate such signals on its own. Do you understand?
