Seeking help: The signal transmission cable for the flow meter at the natural gas station is exposed inside the station. Can an armored rubber tube be installed around this transmission cable? Please give your opinions, as shown in the figure.
It seems that your cable is intrinsically safe; intrinsically safe cables don’t require explosion-proof flexible connection tubes
A flexible tube can be added, but it’s rather troublesome. The original explosion-proof connector needs to be replaced; it’s possible that the one you have isn’t an explosion-proof connector either, but rather a waterproof one. All connectors must match.
If the cable is armored, discontinuous protection can be used; if it is an unarmored cable, then continuous protection should be employed
The connection wires for both the flow meter and the solenoid valve are like this; I try to move the wire ends closer to the inside, but it’s still blocked, and I don’t know how to address the explosion-proofing issue in this situation
