The on-site piping is clearly the result of practical experience. . . For systems, attend the training provided by the system manufacturer

You need to get hands-on with the system yourself, and it’s also crucial to have someone who can guide you – someone who understands the manufacturing processes, the system, and the instruments; such people are not easy to find. To work with piping, start by reading a book on piping; also consult various standards. Look at as many design drawings as possible, as well as examples of on-site construction. With that approach, you should be able to get the hang of it in three to five years.

No one there understands automation, and they say it’s very easy – because of what they said, I thought I could start working on it right away! I find it really difficult right now! I’m not sure what level of depth the design from the design institute should achieve.
You must find a master to guide you. This is even more true for design institutes.
