I work in offshore engineering and have only a basic understanding of chemical engineering. In the context of terminal wiring diagrams, what do Ei/A and G/Ei mean? I consider them to be related to the control of the valve opening degree in pneumatic proportional valves. Could you please tell me what each of the symbols in the upper row is used for?
G/Ei is the valve position feedback signal (4-20mA) terminal, just as indicated in the Chinese text in the diagram. The functions of each component are clearly described in Chinese in the diagram. 81, 82: connected to solenoid valves; 83, 84: fault alarms; 51, 52, 41, 42: valve position switches

81 and 82 are connected to solenoid valves; wiring is done when interlock control is required, and relays are installed within the system to control power on and off. 83 84 Fault alarms: Whenever you need to, you can access the system’s DI terminal board at any time and go inside the system’s DI card. 51 52 41 42 Valve position switches; wiring is required only if your valve is equipped with a feedback switch. All of these are based on your process requirements and PID description. To determine whether the valve should come with these accessories, the design institute will specify the requirements when issuing the technical specifications.
11 and 12 are used to connect the control signals, while 31 and 32 are used for valve position feedback (4–20 MA). These two signals are generally used more frequently; the function of solenoid valves is less common. If it’s not necessary, it’s better to install an external solenoid valve, as this provides greater reliability and makes maintenance easier.
