There is a steam pressure transmitter on site, and the values displayed on this transmitter as well as those on the secondary meters in the control room fluctuate unstably at the same time! After repeated checks, the issue of fluctuations was finally resolved in the control room by re-grounding the shielding layer of the 2X1.5 shielded cable leading to the field transmitter. What I would like to ask is: can issues with cable grounding cause data fluctuations that affect the secondary meters, and can this also lead to fluctuations in the values of the on-site pressure transmitters? ? ? Why is this? ? Please, someone knowledgeable can explain this!
It may be that cables carrying high-power electrical currents near the signal line of the pressure transmitter are causing interference. Grounding the shielding layer eliminates some interference.

What was said on the fourth floor makes a lot of sense! There could be many reasons for the phenomenon you mentioned; it might not be a problem with the instruments at all. If you compared it with the local meter at that time and saw that it was also fluctuating, then it indicates a problem with the process ; If the gauge doesn’t fluctuate at all, then consider whether it’s a problem with the signal wire or other instruments.
The site must have been disturbed, which directly affected the transmitter; check how far away the source of interference is from the pressure transmitter.
