I have an Emerson 1066 oxygen analyzer, and its measurements are inaccurate. I’m not sure if it’s due to the probe; as I’m new to this equipment, I don’t know what the normal color of the probe should be or how to maintain it. Please advise me, experts. Thank you.
This probe can be calibrated by following the steps in the manual; we use ABB models on our boilers, and it should be similar in process.

Ugh, those chemical sensors – their time drift is huge, really huge; it’s even bigger than a big butt. The resulting odor spreads in all directions. :P To ensure the accuracy of chemical sensors, it’s necessary to calibrate them frequently. There’s no shortcut. Identification completed.
The analysis requirements for zirconia are quite stringent regarding temperature, environment, and sampling pipelines – all of these need to be checked. Additionally, it is necessary to perform regular calibration
Is the measurement inaccurate – high or low, or does it fluctuate?
Check whether the heating temperature inside the zirconia is normal, and calibrate it
The zirconia sensor needs to be calibrated when necessary; check whether the oxygen content in your flue gas is consistently too high, or verify that the settings of the zirconia sensor are correct
Inaccuracies can be corrected through calibration; generally, calibration is done using standard gases at concentrations of 1% and 10%. Products from imported brands tend to have better quality.
