Bar-type instruments should work, I remember that the coal feeding air for boilers uses square-shaped ducts; it seems that Delta Bar is used in such cases.

This is an insert-type thermal flow meter that does not require a large pipe diameter; in fact, the larger the diameter, the better. Its accuracy is somewhat low, around 0.2 meters per second, but it is sufficient for use in the HVAC industry. At first, we used the e+e brand imported from Austria; it worked for over a year before breaking down. Later, there were domestic replicas available for around 600 yuan, and after using a few of those, I found that their quality was pretty much the same as that of the imported version.
