There is now a level switch that is four-wire type, operating on 24V power supply plus signal lines; can one 1*4*1.5 cable be used for this purpose, or are two 1*2*1.5 cables necessary? Are there any guidelines I can refer to?
Different signals should not use the same cable.
I think using a 4-core wire is fine, but I’ve never seen any specifications regarding it.
They are all instrument signals, and the signal voltage is low; no problem
At first glance at the question, I thought there were cable problems everywhere. If proper installation is possible, use 4 cores; if it’s not a hassle, use two pairs of 2 cores each
For digital signals, 4*1.5 should be fine
It is best to use a 2x(2x1.5) split-screen main cable, as this complies with the specifications for selecting instrument cables.
When the power supply and digital signal circuits are in different cabinets within the cabinet room, it is advisable to use two separate two-core cables, as this makes it easier to arrange the cables within the cabinet room.
It depends on whether the level switch you have provides 1 or 2 inlet ports
