It depends on whether you request standard gases when purchasing a combustible and toxic gas detector; if not, they are generally not included.
Gases such as methane in combustible gases fall under the category of instruments that require mandatory calibration; you need to submit them to the regulatory authority for inspection. If it’s another type of combustible gas, then a third party is required to carry out the calibration. If you establish your own standards and obtain authorization from the local authorities, you can conduct the calibration yourself as well. Generally, methane is used as a reference for calibration, but the calculation must be adjusted according to the actual gas being tested, as their lower explosion limits vary.
Although we also have third-party testing, during regular production we conduct periodic checks to ensure that everything is in good condition, so that any issues can be identified and repaired or replaced in advance.
