How many types are there generally for the mounting brackets of control valve positioners? Is this bracket related to the positioner or to the control valve bracket? For example, positioners from Siemens, ABB, Yamatake AVP, etc., all have pre-installed mounting holes, and the brackets for the control valve bodies also have mounting holes.
The locator is used in combination with the support for the control valve; the support for the control valve varies from one manufacturer to another. I recall that the supports from Siemens and ABB can be interchanged, but it still depends on the mounting holes of the control valve. This can be done by oneself as well; for many control valves that need to have their positioners replaced, I design them myself and find welders to carry out the welding work. The result is something that is both durable and effective: lol
Well, a master with great practical skills! It’s obvious he’s an expert; he explains things very clearly! Thank you so much!
The positioner is used in conjunction with the control valve, and it should be selected based on the control valve.
Should the support for the positioner be chosen based on the mounting holes of the control valve?
It can be understood that way, but it can be determined based on the model; these are all standard products.
I try to use stainless steel for my own projects; we also take damaged positioners and other aluminum alloy covers, cut them apart, and modify them – the results are great
