I seek help from all the seniors here. In the instrument cabinet room, I often hear the instrument installation crew discussing the issue of “target shooting” during wiring. What exactly is “target shooting”? Also, I heard them say that several construction teams were doing the wiring, but they didn’t communicate with each other properly; there were problems with the targeting, and a plan needed to be formulated. I just want to learn some knowledge about target shooting, to study it. I wonder if the two characters I wrote for “target shooting” are correct
It should be called a circuit test, to determine if there are any wiring errors.
Thank you! Seems not to be the case. From what I heard them say, it’s an action similar to wiring or laying cables—specifically, feeding the cables from the bottom of the cabinet into its interior. I’m not quite sure what the purpose of this is. Is there any colleague who has worked on cabinet installation who can explain this? The electricians should know about it
It’s best to ask the inventors on site about this, as they are the creators. Every industry has its own specialized terminology for reference.
