There is a partition between the control room and the cabinet room; half of this partition is made of glass. The distance between the cabinets and control desks and the walls meets the specified standards. I would like to ask: should the operators be positioned facing the partition or with their backs to it? Are there any provisions in the regulations?
It should just be convenient to use.
We have installed a large monitoring screen on the partition wall between the operation room and the control room. It was originally also glass, facing the control room.
There’s no requirement for this; generally, it’s up to the user to decide.
There are no relevant regulations in the standards, and it does not affect the safe use of the system; the user decides for themselves.
