Hello, original poster! I have two questions: 1. Can a diaphragm made of 316L material be used for the pressure transmitters in acetic acid production plants? 2. Orifice plate flow meters are used to measure steam flow, but the pressure of the steam varies considerably, ranging between 0.45–0.55 MPa. In such cases, if I choose an orifice plate flow meter, how should I account for this pressure variation?

As for the second question, it is suggested that you specify the steam pressure under normal operating conditions; in the situation you described, it would be difficult for anyone to determine it!
Since the pressure is uncertain, temperature-pressure compensation can be applied. Temperature and pressure compensation is generally required for steam.
