Is the Bentley 330910-00-05-10-02-00 a vibration probe or a displacement probe?
Vibration and displacement probes are universal.
Are there any relevant materials? I looked at a PDF for a vibration probe; this model isn’t listed there
The vibration and displacement of this eddy current probe are the same for the same type of probe; the difference lies only in the module chosen for the 3500 model.
Yes, it’s this model. There’s only an English instruction manual. How can one distinguish between the 3500 modules: 3300 XL 8mm and 3300 XL NSV?
I’m sorry; I haven’t worked with Bently products for many years so I’ve forgotten a bit. After looking up some information today, it seems that the 40M and 42M models of the 3500 series are used to measure vibration or displacement through configuration. Our factory’s original imported units were equipped with Bently probes, but they used METRIX transmitters that sent 4–20 mA signals directly to the control room; these transmitters could distinguish between vibration and displacement.
