MODBUS communication issues between ITCC and DCS

Background: The ITCC was integrated by SHENGU, using the TRICON system. The DCS was integrated by ZHEJIANG INTELLIGENT CONTROL, using the ECS700 system. The communication between these systems is carried out via MODBUS and RS485. DCS as the master station: Yesterday morning, one of the communication points in DCS suddenly reached its maximum range, while it was functioning normally in ITCC. At that time, no one was performing any configuration changes or installation operations on these two systems. I asked the engineers from both companies, but didn’t get a reasonable explanation, so I had no way to start solving the problem. One approach is to modify the ITCC configuration by adding an intermediate variable to communicate at that point, but I want to know the reason for this phenomenon – why all communication points work fine except for this one? I can’t understand it.
Such situations can be attributed to transient interference, making them difficult to investigate. How far is the communication cable between your ITCC and ECS700?
The issue has been resolved; please keep this information for future reference. Solution: Recompile the DCS IO point list and install it offline once, and that’s it.
