According to the Fire Protection Design Code for Petrochemical Enterprises GB50160, clause 6.4.2: \"When there are no buffer tanks within the station, an emergency shut-off valve that is easy to operate should be installed on the loading and unloading pipelines at a distance of 10 meters from the loading and unloading cranes.\" ”May I ask, is this emergency shut-off valve to be connected to the SIS? At present, the project has been completed and is in trial operation. The original design called for only one set of pneumatic valves to be connected to the SIS system; however, for the sake of ease and safety in operation, a DCS system was connected on-site. I’m not sure if there are colleagues with similar designs; how do you all approach this issue in terms of design?
If the Hazop analysis results in a Level 1 classification, an SIS valve is required; if it is not Level 1, a DCS is sufficient
