I think this matter still needs to be considered from the perspective of the logical relationships between the devices. A interlock circuit definitely has causes and effects, and these can be a one-to-one relationship, multiple causes leading to one effect, or one cause resulting in multiple effects. Focusing solely on measurement points or actuators can lead to omissions or repetitions. All interlock circuits are designed to protect the equipment. When conducting statistics, it is possible to do so by specific devices. For example, take a PID diagram, identify the main device, and then conduct statistics on each of the five key variables (pressure, flow rate, liquid level, temperature, and composition).
