Issues with DCS communication in oxygen and nitrogen production

Hello everyone. I have a question here that I don’t quite understand. There is an understanding of the relationship between nitrogen and oxygen production and DCS. Which points for oxygen and nitrogen production are considered in DCS? Don’t want to use communication! The cost is too high. It is planned to use a 1-to-2 safety barrier directly connected to the DCS, which would reduce costs. But I don’t know which points in DCS they’ve all entered? For example: oxygen analysis must be fed into the DCS. The nitrogen concentration is definitely fed into the DCS. What else needs to be entered into the DCS?
What are your nitrogen and oxygen production processes like? Is it air cryogenic separation? Or something else
It uses OPC communication, but it depends on your DCS manufacturer
We simply feed these two points into the DCS via 4–20mA signals; the rest are things like valve status and flow accumulation, which are displayed on-site. Modbus communication is available.
Analog signal. Are you from a coking plant as well? Should it be purged with nitrogen?
