Problems with vortex flowmeters

I’m a beginner when it comes to instruments. In my factory, there is a loading system, and one of the vortex flowmeters has an on-site display; however, even when fluid is flowing through it at a significant rate, the instantaneous flow rate shows as zero. The total flow rate also doesn’t increase, and the wiring seems to be fine! 24V DC power supply also works fine; I’m asking the experts here to help identify the issue.
If conditions permit, use an object to tap the pipe next to the flow meter, causing noticeable vibrations in the pipe, and check whether there is any change in the flow meter’s instantaneous flow rate.
Is there a flow display on the vortex flowmeter gauge? First, check the vortex flowmeter’s LCD display; if it is present, then the issue lies with the secondary instrument. Does your vortex flowmeter provide a 4-20mA output or a pulse output? If not, it’s a problem with the flow meter. You need to first determine whether it’s a problem with the first part or a problem with the second part.

Ask the manufacturer whether what they send you is a gauge for gas pressure or a gauge for liquid pressure. It’s very likely that he set the sensor sensitivity too low, causing it to be below the flow rate of the medium in your pipeline. If the sensitivity is increased, it will then be unable to resist vibration interference.
Your pulse output is a cumulative value; is the vortex street type integrated or separate? Is it that the meter of the vortex flowmeter does not show the instantaneous flow rate, or is it that the loading instrument does not display it?
Small-signal clipping, linear or zeroing?
Check whether the settings for the gas and liquid media being measured are correct, whether the small-signal cutoff is set too high, examine whether there are any issues with the vortex generator, and then check if there are any problems with the vortex detector
