There is one type of relay, the MY2N-D2, which operates at 24VDC. Another type is the MM2XP. The first type (which we usually refer to as an AC relay) is used in circuits related to solenoid valves and the starting/stopping of pumps, while the second type (which we usually call a DC relay) is used in circuits for starting/stopping high-voltage motors. It should start from the source. 1. It is used in switches for solenoid valves and low-voltage motors, where the contact capacity requirements are not high; generally, a contact capacity of 24VDC/1A or 220VAC/2A is sufficient. 2. Switches used in high-voltage motors require a relatively high contact capacity (and direct current is generally used), typically ranging from 220VDC/2A to 5A. Therefore, any type of relay can be used as long as it meets the corresponding requirements. To expand on this, the secondary circuit of high-voltage motors can also use alternating current, but it is not as stable and reliable as direct current. So design institutes almost use DC.
The first type of relay has two types of contacts: 220VAC/10A and 30VDC/10A, but it is generally used only in control circuits for valves, low-voltage motors, and similar devices.
