Pressure transmitters are used in a wide range of industries, so the working environment can easily cause interference to them. To extend the service life of pressure transmitters, it is necessary to improve their resistance to interference, and this is achieved through the following measures. 1. Selection of the output signal for pressure transmitters There are a wide variety of output signal types available for pressure transmitters on the market; these signals mainly take the form of mV, mA, or digital outputs, with 4-20mA being one such output type. Requirements are placed on the output signal of pressure transmitters because different output signals imply different requirements in other aspects, such as whether an amplifier is needed for the pressure transmitter and where it should be installed. For situations where it is necessary to amplify the output signal, the solution is to use a pressure transmitter that already has signal amplification capabilities. When pressure transmitters are used in environments with severe interference, frequency output or mA-level output is generally employed for the selection of the output signal. Furthermore, for pressure transmitters used under special conditions, in addition to considering the output signal, it is also necessary to install filters on the pressure transmitters or take special protective measures in order to enhance their resistance to interference. 2. Encapsulation When selecting a pressure transmitter, it is necessary to take into account its operating conditions, such as the type of medium it comes into contact with and the environmental conditions, etc. To reduce malfunctions in pressure transmitters, it is necessary to ensure proper encapsulation of these devices. 3. Stability of the transmitter This requirement refers to the ability of the pressure transmitter to maintain a high level of stability even after prolonged use. This is because many pressure transmitters exhibit \"drift\" after being used for an extended period of time. An effective solution to reduce problems that arise during use is to consider stability performance when selecting pressure transmitters. 4. Connection distance and method of pressure transmitters For pressure transmitters, the length of the connection distance between them and other devices, as well as the method of connection, can affect the transmitter’s ability to resist interference.
