I’m a complete fool when it comes to the chemical industry – an outsider who finds learning this field extremely difficult. Our factory produces esters, which are created through a reaction between acetic acid and ethanol in a distillation tower. I don’t really know how to describe it. Could anyone who does the same work as me share some insights with me?

I have been working in shift work in the petrochemical industry for 10 years. At first, I knew nothing about it, and now I understand a bit through practical experience, but when it comes to theory, I’m not good at it – I haven’t read enough, so I simply can’t understand things like theoretical equations!
It is indeed quite difficult; it needs to be logical. But it’s still really not easy to learn
