Is it feasible to fill the tank with nitrogen up to 5 kPa, install a pressure transmitter on the tank, and a control valve on the nitrogen inlet pipe of the tank? In that case, does the control valve open fully at the beginning of this process, with its opening degree gradually decreasing? When the pressure inside the tank approaches 5 kPa, the valve’s opening degree becomes very small. Does this entire process take a long time? Because in the end, the control valve supplies nitrogen into the tank at a very small opening degree.

Besides, for a large tank, if the pressure is adjusted too steadily, it seems like it isn’t very useful anyway, right? So, if 5 kPa is the target pressure for control, then use a solenoid valve: it opens when the pressure reaches 4.5 kPa to trigger an alarm, and it closes when the pressure reaches 5 kPa to stop the alarm.
