From a functional perspective, float level switches can be classified into single-point float switches, two-stage float level switches, three-position float level switches, and so on. However, their working principle is the same: they utilize a float to cause the reed contacts in a stainless steel rod to close or open, thereby enabling their function. I will explain in detail the two-stage float level switch for everyone. Many customers, when choosing a two-stage float level switch, only think about the effects they desire, without checking whether such a switch is suitable for use or how to operate it. As the name implies, a two-stage float level switch is capable of controlling both high and low levels by generating signals, thereby enabling automatic filling and draining of water in a tank. So, if we only want to control a single water level, can the two-stage float level switch still be used? How should it be used? The answer is that it can be used; if you only want to control a single water level, you just need to check how many output lines there are. If there are three, then use one of those common lines, and additionally use another line to control the high or low level. If there are four, take two. It’s not only the two-stage float level switches; three-stage and four-stage float level switches can be done in the same way as well.
