I have two questions I’d like to ask the experts here. 1. The new system uses BERKERT valve islands, which are installed on the control panel on the 1st floor and connected to the various valves through air supply pipes. The air supply connectors for these valves are of the M5 size. I would like to ask whether the valves can still function properly if the distance between the air supply source and the valves exceeds 10 meters 2. Could you recommend a manufacturer of surface-type thermal resistors for pipes with an OD of only 1/4”? Neither Chuanyi nor Shanghai Automation offers them; foreign brands are the best.

Is a surface-type thermal resistor the same as an end-face thermal resistor? There are many domestic manufacturers, and there are also surface-mounted types. The smaller the pipe, the more sensitive it is to temperature changes. There’s no need to buy foreign products for temperature measurement – they are expensive, have long delivery times, and if what you receive doesn’t meet expectations, the manufacturer won’t even help you. Moreover, domestic products perform very well in terms of temperature measurement, with accuracy levels of less than 0.1°C
1 The air supply pipe is too small, and the distance for air delivery is long; a slightly larger actuation mechanism cannot handle it. It’s better for this valve island to be as close as possible to the actuator.
