Vacuum pressure gauge – I don’t know how to read it? Could everyone please explain it to me? One black circle, one red circle – how much does each grid cell represent? There are also negative ones. Also, I don’t really have a concept of the pressure unit megapascal.
This is a pressure gauge used in the field, and it’s indeed very difficult to determine what level of accuracy is required for its readings. I believe there should be an indoor display gauge; in such cases, the unit used on this indoor gauge is usually kilopascals.
Black 0 represents 0 – 0.1 MPa of atmospheric pressure, which is equivalent to 0 of absolute pressure. The red line denotes another pressure unit, psi
The gauge is broken; how can the vacuum level reach -0.1 MPa? That’s in space
Isn’t it written on the gauge that it’s a vacuum gauge? The red scale indicates the level of vacuum, expressed in psi, while the black scale shows the gauge pressure, expressed in MPa. Just read the values directly; when reporting them, indicate whether it’s the vacuum level or the gauge pressure.
Since a visual vacuum gauge was chosen for the site, it is likely that precise counting is not required during on-site observation; moreover, the needle of the gauge may also shake back and forth while in operation.
It is approximately -0.098 MPa. In practical applications, pressure is often expressed in terms of kilograms, with 1 MPa being equivalent to 10 kilograms.
This is a vacuum pressure gauge. Range: 0~-0.1MPa (in black letters) 0~-14.51psi (in red letters). Should there be text printed on this gauge? So many negative signs were missed in printing – what a crappy gauge. Damn it, stupid gauge; I must have ended up in an Indian men’s toilet. :P
