The hydrogenation design pressure is 18.9 MPa. Should magnetic flip plate or glass level gauges be used on-site? Which manufacturers’ instruments can meet these requirements?
Magnetic flip plates or glass plates work fine; as long as the quality is reliable, there’s no problem
Can a glass plate with magnetic flip switches withstand such high pressures? The normal pressure for hydrogenation here is around 23 MPa, while the pressure at the pump outlet is 27 MPa. We use on-site level gauges made by Beijing Skvesis; we also used a reed switch as well. It works fine – there haven’t been many problems with it. The only issue was that there were some problems with the flange gaskets during transportation when it was first installed, so they had to be replaced

Glass plates are absolutely not allowed! Magnetic flip plates can withstand such high pressures; the normal pressure in our lubricating oil hydrogenation process is around 21 MPa, and the same pressure applies at the outlets of the new hydrogen generator and the recycle hydrogen compressor
Which company manufactures the magnetic flap? A friend of mine has seen high-pressure imported glass plates
I took a look at this specification sheet; it’s quite simple. There is no operating pressure, no measurement of liquid level, no temperature, and nothing of the sort. It seems to be an installation condition.
