As shown in the picture, does anyone here know which manufacturer this flow meter is from? What type of flow meter is it?
Decide for yourself; it definitely isn’t a mass flow meter of the Coriolis type, with no bent measurement tube； It’s not electromagnetic either; no external coils were seen ； Vortex street is also not an option; the length left for the neck is insufficient to accommodate a differential throttling element ； Ultrasonic waves are not an option either; there is no location where ultrasonic waves can be installed ； I didn’t see any other types such as target, Wirbel, or orifice plates that require differential pressure transmitters; rotors and gear wheels are even less suitable. It seems that a thermal mass flow meter is the appropriate choice
The German flow meter brand is called Flow; it is considered a niche brand, and it is commonly used in China for measuring liquefied gas, natural gas, etc. It’s hard to say because there’s little information; I haven’t used it before. If there were clear, large images, especially of the label, then it would be possible to know
The original poster, please take a photo of the nameplate and send it over. What is the location indicated by that arrow of yours? A small hole?
Just by looking at the external diagram, with no measurement information available for reference, it’s only possible to guess what type of flow meter it is based on its appearance. If it doesn’t have two dog eyes, it really can’t be dug. :lol. .
