Multi-point measurement refers to the temperatures at different locations; in the case of sensors, the normal output should be multiple signals； If a transmitter is used, traditionally one transmitter per sensor, resulting in multiple sets of 4-20mA outputs as well ； Some customers use those bus transmitters, such as Romon’s 848T; E+H also has similar products. In the end, it’s a bus output, which is essentially a multi-channel output. We also manufacture average temperature meters for customers to use on various storage tanks; these meters basically use Romon 848T gauges, along with multiple sensors that are used in conjunction with them. As I understand it, it’s still a multi-output signal; once it reaches the DCS, algorithms are then used to determine the average temperature.
