To design a closed-loop test system for a pump, a pressure transmitter is required to measure the pressure at the inlet and outlet; in addition, about twenty measurement points need to be installed to detect pressure fluctuations. Are there any suitable transmitters you can recommend? Which multi-channel recorder is good for receiving these signals?
Choose a pressure transmitter based on your own requirements for accuracy and budget; international brands are all good choices. Since you need to record and analyze the data collected, you’ll need some kind of curve representation, so it’s better to use a PLC along with a host computer for configuration.
It needs to be connected to a computer. I don’t understand PLCs – does it involve buying hardware, programming it oneself, and then sending the calculation results directly to a computer?
If by computer you mean the ones we use in everyday life, then they are only capable of processing data. As for where this data comes from, it needs to be collected through configuration using PLCs and higher-level systems, after which it can be exported in formats such as Excel spreadsheets or databases in SQL format. If you need to set up a PLC, it’s better to find a manufacturer specializing in control systems and have them handle it entirely. As for whether there is such a device that can replace the above functions, that’s beyond my knowledge.

I saw others do it by going from the measurement point to a box with many interfaces, and a computer is located next to it; that box is probably what you mean by PLC, right?

Pressure transmitters are usually produced by traditional instrument manufacturers, while data collectors can be built using PLCs or microcontrollers; the ones I found were all from domestic manufacturers. I assume that major foreign manufacturers of analytical instruments also produce such devices – maybe someone here can recommend some. If you want to make a bulk purchase, it will have to be through a third party, or someone who sells analytical instruments and can help with the purchase as well; there will definitely be an extra cost due to the additional step involved. It’s better to buy it directly if possible.
