There is a problem with the installation; the pressure measurement tube should be angled upward at 45 degrees. However, the fan reaches its full scale as soon as it starts running. Can angling the pressure measurement tube upward solve the issue of full scale?
Bro, you’re measuring the differential pressure here. Have you checked whether there’s any blockage at the reduction section? If it’s gas flowing through, it has nothing to do with the installation location
It’s the gas flow that’s the issue; there are problems with both the return air flow and the supply air flow, as there is no blockage at the narrowing section!
There should be a product specification sheet that is calculated based on your manufacturing processes; it should include installation requirements, the range of measurement, and which type of measuring instrument should be used – all of these elements are necessary for accurate display. If you exceed the range, it will still show full scale.
It seems like this is a new device; either the necking calculation is too low, or the measurement range has been set too low. Talk to the design team about this
