It should be called a bearing cover, more or less.
This should be the handwheel worm gland; make sure to secure it tightly. Prevent the screw from getting out of alignment and losing control. This isn’t something related to nouns; it’s just a cover. Just deal with it quickly. This thing should have a anti-loosening feature.
It’s a component connected to the gear shaft for changing gears; I’ve never even thought about what this thing is called. Usually, valve manufacturers purchase such components already finished.
