What is the difference between resetting a transmitter and performing a zero trim on 475?

There is a reset function in feature 475 – what is it for? Is it necessary to modify the pressure gauge so that it does not show a value other than 0 at zero pressure? What is the Reset button on that transmitter for? Do the two have the same function?
I don’t know which brand’s transmitter you are referring to. The Zero Trim function of 475 means that the gauge should display zero at present, but due to issues such as installation, it does not show zero. The Zero Trim function is used to eliminate this deviation and make the gauge display zero. Additionally, in the case of Rosemount gauges, the zeroing button at the top actually sets the currently measured pressure to 4 milliamps, thereby minimizing the output to zero; this means that the gauge’s range setting is changed, with the current display value set to 4 milliamps. The value of 20 milliamps also changes automatically, but the displayed value remains unchanged.
