For example, when a gauge is installed on a pipeline with a process diameter of φ273X6.0, how is it determined that the process interface for TE-101 should be DN40 PN1.6MPA? (Why DN40?)

Determine the openings on the pipeline based on the instrument interface?

Personally, I’m not sure if this is correct: On the P&ID, it is required to leave spaces on the pipes for instruments, so you should first check the information related to instrument selection, or consult the instrumentation specialists. Based on the flanges, threads, or other styles that match, just leave a gap so that it can be connected.
