Therefore, during installation it is important to take measures to prevent vibrations. 1) Supports should be installed on the pipes before and after the flow meter to avoid pipe vibrations. 2) Principle vibration source. 3) If several flowmeters are used in parallel, avoid using the same support; instead, they must be reinforced separately, as vibrations at the same frequency between the instruments can cause interference. 2. Operating conditions: 1) For media that solidify easily, appropriate protective measures should be taken, such as steam tracing, electric heating, or insulation with insulation cotton. 2) The installation location should be chosen in a place that facilitates subsequent maintenance. 3) When the medium being measured is volatile, it is essential to ensure that the flow meter has sufficient back pressure. If their use is necessary, one can opt for flow meters with slightly curved or straight measurement tubes, but the effectiveness of this approach will need to be determined on-site.
Zero drift is an inherent flaw of mass flow meters based on the vibrating tube principle; it is present from birth and incurable. Friendly reminder: To achieve accuracy when using this flow meter, it is necessary to calibrate it frequently – repeatedly, constantly. :lol :lol :lol
Zero drift does exist in mass flow meters, and different manufacturers enhance the ability to resist interference in the field, which reduces the need for frequent zero-point calibration. For applications requiring high precision, Coriolis mass flow meters are the preferred choice.
