Should the cables used in the instruments be audited as control cables or as signal cables? Is there a significant price difference between these two audit methods? Those with experience, please share
For control cables, evaluate them according to the relevant standards for control cables. When using a computer, just check it using the computer cable. There is a price difference.
The material list should distinguish between computer cables and control cables. (Standard, cable control not exceeding 20%)
Where can I find out how the prices are set?
For instruments, which are the control cables and which are the signal cables?

It refers to standard 220AC and 24DC power distribution circuits, including the power supply for solenoids; control cables such as KVVP or KYJVP are used for this purpose. For the remaining analog and digital signal circuits, signal cables (commonly known as computer cables, DJ-xx) are used.
