The customer originally had a High Precision integrated mass flow meter, model 1700I, which was experiencing problems: the accuracy was poor and the flow rate fluctuated significantly. Through alternative methods, it was confirmed that the issue lies with the transmitter motherboard. On-site issue: A newly purchased split-type 1700R transmitter motherboard was installed, but it is not possible to access the menu. I would like to ask how to set it up
Why not report it for replacement with the original model motherboard of 1700I?
The delivery time is too long; the parts supplier confirmed that the 1700R model can be used
Give it a try: unscrew the watch cover, then press both photosensitive buttons at the same time

(1) If it’s just a problem with the glass panel, unscrewing the cover and pressing the photosensitive element should work; (2) Otherwise, simply connect the 475 manual controller to ports 1 and 2, add a 250-ohm resistor, and check the parameter settings; do not connect any other wires to ports 1 and 2 ; (3) Connect port 5, 6, or 9, 10 using a laptop equipped with a 485 conversion module; use the PROLINK software to check the parameter settings, and ensure that the options “Display offline menu” or “Display alarm menu” are not selected.
Even after removing the cover, the dual buttons still don’t allow access to the offline menu! What is the standard procedure after replacing the motherboard with the same model?
Check whether the wiring is correct; first try to establish a connection using the Hart handheld device or software. If a connection can be established, then there is no issue with the settings. Next, check whether the infrared buttons on the gauge are not responding properly
The issue of infrared sensitivity can be ruled out; the problem is that my motherboard version is too old and not compatible for use!
