The loading station does not match the EMERSON mass flow meter; how should the mass flow meter be configured?
Check the pulse equivalent settings; they should be the same on both sides
First, we need to see if it’s due to reasons on that side
Is it an inconsistency in the instantaneous values or an inconsistency in the cumulative values? If the instantaneous values differ, check whether the range settings on both sides are identical, whether the shielding is properly connected, whether the instrument is properly grounded, and whether there is any interference from strong magnetic fields. If the cumulative values differ, verify that the settings for small-signal rejection on both sides are the same; also check what the alarm output signals related to empty-line alarms on the flowmeter side are, whether there is backflow in the pipeline, and whether the flowmeter is set up for two-way measurement and accumulation
Check whether the pulses are consistent; if they are, adjust the coefficients accordingly. If they are used for transaction measurement, they are usually sealed off so as not to be altered: lol
What isn’t matching the flow meter – is it the batch controller, the weighbridge, or the amount of liquid level drop in the storage tank? This needs to be analyzed specifically. If there is a mismatch between the batch controller and the flow meter, it’s easy to resolve. If it are weighbridges and storage tanks, then it is necessary to analyze whether there are any issues with the process
