The current cables don’t have any technical specifications, and it is being considered whether Profibus-DP cables could be used as a replacement. After several days of discussion and research, as well as consulting relevant professionals, it was confirmed that these two types of cables cannot be used together, since Fieldbus and Profibus operate using different protocols; moreover, Fieldbus requires power to be supplied to the field bus, and its communication protocol operates at low voltage levels.
