There was a power outage once before; after restarting the software and turning on the pump, the yellow light remained on. I waited for an hour without the green light appearing, although it should have turned green within ten minutes. I contacted an engineer, who said it needed to be sent back to the factory for repair – which is too troublesome. So I’m asking if anyone else has encountered the same problem and is willing to help resolve it in exchange for payment. Thank you
The model number should be specified, and a manual or something similar should be provided to help determine whether the problem lies in the software or the hardware. I haven’t used a mass spectrometer before; lol. Searching for information related to “MKS” on the “Haichuan” and “Instrument Information” websites yields very little results, which suggests that this brand isn’t widely used

It is advisable to equip the mass spectrometer with a high-capacity UPS unit to prevent sudden power outages, as the vacuum system of a mass spectrometer is quite complex, and such outages can cause unexpected damage. Ordinary users generally do not have the capability to repair mass spectrometers. Spend the money to fix it; it’s yet another opportunity to give money to American imperialists.
