We plan to purchase a flow meter. Its main purpose is to measure steam flow for use in trade settlements. Note: Our unit does not have enough steam, so we intend to connect a steam pipeline from another company to supply steam for our production needs. The main parameters are as follows: Medium: superheated steam; Operating pressure: 1.3 MPa; Medium temperature: 225 degrees Celsius; Operating flow rate range: 0–30 T/h; Normal flow rate: 25 T/h; Pipe diameter: DN200; Installation orientation: horizontal; Accuracy class: not less than 0.5 class. What type of flow meter is suitable for use? I would appreciate it if experts could help. Additionally, our company plans to use imported mass flow meters, either from Emerson or E+H. I wonder if this is an appropriate choice; what is the approximate price range? Please let me know as well.
Bar-type flowmeters work fine, whether it’s Delta Bar or Anubar. A high-temperature vortex flow meter can also be chosen; if higher accuracy is required, then a mass flow meter is the option

E+H is definitely out of the question – it has such a large diameter and also operates at relatively high temperatures. Ask Emerson
For levels above 0.5, it is best to choose a mass flow meter.
When using vortex street sensors, a necking is definitely required. Only a mass flow meter can achieve the accuracy you need, and it may not even be sufficient in practice.
There should be ones from E+H, but it’s likely they won’t want to invest in imported mass flow meters either
