1. It is advisable to use an inlet and outlet arrangement with the connections at the bottom, as this can effectively prevent rainwater and other substances from entering the explosion-proof distribution box. 2. For unarmored cables, a cable entry device with a sealing ring can be used; the outer diameter of this device should match the inner diameter of the sealing ring, so that the elastic sealing ring can effectively compress the cable and force it into the interior of the device. Alternatively, sealing filler must be used to seal around the cable in order to ensure good sealing performance. Armored cables should use a compression-function guiding device. 3. One hole in the elastic sealing ring should seal one cable, and only one cable shall be introduced per hole. The cross-section of the cable must be circular. When the outer diameter of the cable is greater than 20 mm, the clamping device shall be equipped with an anti-extraction mechanism. 4. The explosion-proof thread with threaded lead device shall have at least 6 turns and a length of at least 8 mm. 5. The filler-sealed introduction device involves filling the introduction device with thermosetting mixed fillers; its minimum axial length should be 20 mm. The fillers used must be non-flammable or fire-resistant, able to be filled without heating, and capable of curing at room temperature. The sealing of the cable entry and exit holes in explosion-proof distribution boxes, as well as the flameproof surfaces, have a certain impact on the explosion-proof performance.
