Magnetic flap level gauges can be used to detect the liquid level of media in various devices such as towers, tanks, vats, spherical containers, and boilers. Magnetic flap level gauges offer high sealing performance, prevent leakage, and are suitable for use in high-temperature, high-pressure, and corrosive environments. It overcomes the shortcomings of glass plate (tube) level gauges, such as poor indication clarity and susceptibility to breakage; it offers no blind spots in the entire measurement process, provides clear readings, and has a wide measurement range. The components of the magnetic flap level gauge are made from materials such as 1Cr18Ni9Ti, 316L, 0Cr18Ni9Ti, 1Cr18Ni9Ti lined with PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene), PVC, PP, as well as imported components; this gives it excellent reliability and corrosion resistance. 1. Magnetic conductive materials must not be allowed to come into contact with the area surrounding the magnetic flap level gauge, and it is prohibited to use wires for fixing it, as this can affect its proper operation ; 2. If the user installs a heat tracing pipeline on their own, non-magnetic materials must be used, such as copper tubes. The heat tracing temperature is determined based on the properties of the medium ; 3. The magnetic flap level gauge must be installed vertically, and a ball valve should be installed between the gauge and the container’s inlet pipe to facilitate maintenance and cleaning ; 4. The medium should not contain any solid impurities or magnetic materials, to prevent jamming of the float ; As a level measurement instrument with relatively simple principles and structure, magnetic flap gauges still hold a significant position in the market even today, as technology advances rapidly and new products utilizing advanced technologies continue to emerge.
