I need to purchase a batch of PT100 temperature sensing modules soon. The DCS system is from ABB and it has a 485 interface. What should I keep in mind when purchasing these PT100 temperature sensing modules? ? ? Can any PT100 temperature sensing module be used? ? Does it still have to be compatible with our ABB DCS system?

485 is an electrical standard; signal transmission still requires other higher-level protocols
This 485 protocol should be universal. As long as it supports the 485 protocol, it should work. If the 485 protocol isn’t standardized, then what’s the point of having it?
