Measuring current with a four-wire instrument? ?

Hello everyone, can a four-wire meter be used with the ammeter function of a multimeter to measure the current directly at the meter’s signal terminals? Please share your opinions. .

To measure current, it must be connected in series; measuring directly at the instrument’s signal terminal is equivalent to connecting in parallel with the instrument.
Two-wire systems also won’t work; some instruments have test terminals built in, allowing for direct measurement
For four-wire systems, it’s possible to measure the current value directly, but the controller will indicate a loss of connection; since the multimeter is used to divert the current, all of the current flows through the multimeter
