Grounding of cable shielding layer

Dear experts, for cables with a single shielding layer, when the shielding layer is grounded at one end on the control room side, should it be connected to the working ground or the protective ground?； For cables with dual shielding layers, does the outer shielding layer need to be grounded at both ends? Connect to the working ground or the protective ground?

For single-shielding systems, grounding is generally measured in the control room; this is described in detail in the specifications for instrument grounding. In double-shielding systems, the outer shield is usually grounded at both ends to prevent lightning-induced effects, while the inner shield is generally grounded in the control room, as specified in the guidelines for instrument lightning protection. If the field instrument must be grounded to function, it should be grounded at both ends with isolation in between.
