Recently, Yulin Refinery has strengthened the management of the operation of key pumps and motors. Online monitoring is in place for faults related to the power frequency, bearings, gears, and couplings of these 24 key pumps across the entire plant, allowing equipment managers to access relevant operational data at any time and keep track of the status of the equipment. 　　It is reported that online equipment monitoring makes full use of advanced technologies such as the Internet of Things, big data, cloud computing, and artificial intelligence. Equipment operation data is sent to equipment managers via mobile apps, allowing them to monitor the status of the equipment at any time and place. Meanwhile, by analyzing, calculating, inferring, and predicting the weak points in the equipment’s operation based on this data, it is possible to carry out scientific, predictive maintenance, thereby ensuring the long-term, continuous, and controlled operation of production facilities. 　　Since the factory began implementing online monitoring for its operating equipment, the 24 pumps have received their first \"health check reports\": in March, these pumps received 2 warnings and 4 notices; all employees received them and made the necessary adjustments and repairs, which improved the stability and continuity of equipment operation, leading to a steady improvement in the overall level of equipment management.
