What types of projects use Siemens S7-400 redundant PLCs?
Our coal chemical main units use DCS, 414H, and PCS7 systems.
Redundancy is used to improve reliability. Siemens’ current DCS system is the pcS7 system; the hardware used is of type 410, with a redundant version designated as 410H. The number of units to be used is determined based on the scale of the system. In a redundant system, it is generally not necessary to shut down the system in order to make partial updates to the programs. If the template is also redundant, it can be replaced online.
